Dalmatian

The dalmatian has very ancient origins, which are difficult to trace precisely. The distinctive feature of the breed is its white coat with black or brown spots. A dalmatian skull is as wide as it is long, and it is flat on the top of the skull. There are 10 to 12 precent of dalmatians that are born deaf. There feet are round and have arched toes. This is an active breed so if you get one you have to make sure it gets a lot of exercise, you should take your dalmatian for a walk at least once a day. They usually weigh about 55 pounds and are about 22 to 24 inches tall. They live about 10 to 12 years in age. The dalmatian sheds all year round. They stay clean and avoid puddles so you don't have to worry about bathing your dog that often.
